Koedo Kawagoe is a historical town in the suburb of Tokyo. It offers visitors the opportunity to experience four different eras from modern to current periods (Meiji, Taisho, Showa, and Heisei eras) while retaining the atmosphere of the early-modern Edo period. The old temple Kitain is famous for more than five hundreds of stone Buddha statues with various facial expressions that capture the emotions of human beings and attracts the interests of many tourists. This tour includes a visit to a beer brewery which started its business as the reuse of vegetables.

B. Sawara – Canal and historical district tour

Sawara is a riverside town located in the eastern suburb of Tokyo. It was once a bustling water transportation hub and is now an historical preservation district. People there incorporated various elements of Edo (1600-1868) culture while also establishing their own unique culture. Sawara was also known for making sake, miso and soy sauce, which were then shipped off to Edo (now Tokyo). Sightseeing by boat is also popular.  This tour includes a visit to a sake brewery.
